Rule of Thirds

Using the rule of thirds I took some photos of a water can next to a peony.

Photo # 1                                                                                Photo # 2

Image #1 has the water can off center, the photo's composition looks much better. Photo #2 has the water can centered, the photo is not as appealing.

    first off, beautiful shots Etta. Second, I love the first one. Not only does it include the full pink flower, but it shows that there is a background behind it as well which is like a little mystery compared to the second one which limits the view to only the plant. I like the first photo a lot good work :)
